Welcome to the Autism MQ website.
We are an interdisciplinary, cross-department and cross-faculty group of researchers at Macquarie University interested in improving the lives of Autistic people, across the lifespan.
We have a particular interest in the creation of quality research which leads to relevant outcomes that benefit Autistic people and their families in their everyday lives. This includes striving for inclusivity and the amplification of multiply marginalised voices within the Autistic and broader autism communities and championing the use of participatory approaches in research.
On this website you will be able to find out about our research and team members as well as information and resources for autistic people wanting to be involved in research and researchers wanting to become more inclusive and work with Autistic people and their families in a more collaborative way.
Autism MQ is led by Professor Liz Pellicano from the Macquarie School of Education.
